I have some exciting news that I have been praying about, and I'm so excited to share it with you! I am going to MEXICO! This is an amazing opportunity, and I am honored to be a part!
I will be traveling August 3rd-10th with a group from my church, Lifepoint Church, who is partnering with a great ministry called Children's Cup. Children's Cup was founded in 1992 by missionaries Dave and Jean Ohlerking who soon began to work in Africa by feeding hungry children and doing so with a determination to make a lasting impact through sustainable community transformation. Twenty-four years later, they are seeing the fruit of their labor around the world. Children who came to their CarePoints hungry and desperate for food and hope, now have grown into bright, hope-filled young adults leading the way in their families and communities. We will be serving at CarePoints which are places where children are given food and water, medical care, education, discipleship, economic empowerment, and most importantly JESUS!
I am excited about this opportunity because I know that it will not only change me but better equip me to serve others when I return.
In order to make this journey, I need some assistance. First and foremost, I need friends and family to pray. Would you please commit to pray for me as I go? I need you to pray for my strength emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Pray that the Lord will meet my financial needs. I know the Lord will not give me passion without giving me provision. Pray also for everyone on our team to show His love to the people of MEXICO.
Secondly, yes, there are financial needs. The cost of the trip is $1650, which each team member is responsible to raise.
Whether you feel led to contribute financially, through prayer, or both, all of your support is greatly appreciated.
