Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Over the last few
years, Cathedral of Praise church in Nashville, TN has provided thanksgiving
baskets to families in need around Nashville as a way to serve our community.
This year, we will serve more families in a different way.
This year, we will cook and provide 500+ free thanksgiving meals to people from all around Nashville. The meals will be provided to people who don't have the ability to provide a meal for themselves (or their families) and to people who would spend the holiday alone. We will also bus students from the local universities to the church to enjoy this Thanksgiving Day meal.
The meal will be a traditional Thanksgiving meal including turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce and a dinner roll. Assorted desserts and tea will also be provided. Each serving will cost a little more than $6.00. With a goal to feed 500+ people, we hope that you will consider helping us raise the $3,000+ for this event.
We are excited to demonstrate the love that Christ has for each of us in this tangible way to people throughout Nashville. Thank you for joining us in loving our community! All donations will be used to purchase food for this dinner. All persons preparing the food or working the Thanksgiving Day event are volunteers who will not be compensated for their time. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
If you know of a person/family in the Nashville are that is in need of a Thanksgiving, please let them know that dinner will be served from 12PM to 3PM.
