Emergency: Black Teens In Financial Crisis

TW: description of bodily trauma, car accidents HELLO ALL, my friends have found themselves in a huge fucking rut as one of them had both of their parents, one of whom they share housing costs with, involved in a plainly horrific car accident on January 4th that left them hospitalized. We are asking that you do what you can to please support them during this emergency—the smallest amount will help keep them afloat. When the accident happened, her mother was on the side of impact and has 4 broken ribs, a hairline fracture, a broken shoulder, a broken elbow and a broken knee, as well as her arm having been dislocated in the crash. her father sustained severe head trauma, a broken spine, and is experiencing seizures. They’re only 19 and 20 and are currently using all of their income to transport to work, try to pay rent, AND now pay unexpected medical bills. They will also be needing a new way of transportation/a car in the future, as this one was totaled. Basic and valuable belongings like phones and things alike that were destroyed will need to be repaired or replaced. They’re ready and willing to bust their asses working minimum wage jobs but definitely will be needing far more support than that can provide over the next few months. The goal of (2,000) reflects the urgency of this situation and again, any cent is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
