Help Holly Volunteer in Kenya 2014

My name is Holly Laslo, I have always loved helping other people, I care a lot about others and children are my strong point. I have always loved being around kids and hope to always work with children. I am currently raising money to help pay some of the fees which will allow me to travel to Kenya to volunteer (Orphanage program) for 4 weeks through International Volunteer HQ. (www.volunteerhq.org)
I have been interested in volunteering abroad for a few years now and in August of 2014 I will be turning 18 therefore, I will be able to reach that goal on my own. I turn 18 on August 12th, 2014 and I am planning on leaving August 13th and starting the program on August 15th!

Although I hope to have money saved for myself for this trip, I know that I will still have some troubles due to program/registration fees, 4 week travel insurance and basic weekly expenses adding up to around $1030.00. That does not include the flights (approx. $2,200), visa, vaccinations, criminal background check, transfer back to airport from the program or general money to spend which leaves me with A LOT of saving to do as it adds up so quickly.
