That all being said, ERCT has set up a 100X70 foot riding arena for the purpose of training these beautiful rescues but we have learned that the delivery of arena sand is more than we can afford right now. This arena will allow for us to train and work with our rescues but also provide the necessary area to establish an equine therapy program for children with disabilities and for soldiers and others with post traumatic stress. It is our dream to not only help the horses but also help people who can benefit from these beautiful creatures.
ERCT is supposed to have a holiday Open House on December 8th from 4-6pm and we are so hoping to be able to finish the arena before then in order to do riding demos and a rescue parade that evening. Of course, everyone is invited to the Open House!
I can't tell you how much a donation to this cause would mean to me and the rest of ERCT. Anything helps and is so very appreciated. If we hit our goal, we will be able to finish the arena and anything donated over that will go to the care of our beloved rescues out at the barn. Please, please, please share this page and consider donating! It is for such an incredible cause!!
