Over the past year and a half, David, his wife Charity, and his two daughters Daphne and Violet, have been struggling with his diagnoses of stage IV tonsil cancer. Dave has faced chemo, radiation, and a debilitating surgery with humor, grace, and courage. And in lovely defiance of this challenge, their family has grown to include a new baby girl.
Unfortunately the cancer is back, and their team of doctors say there is nothing more they can do. David and Charity now find themselves at an especially critical juncture and could use all the support they can get.
He has qualified for a clinical trial in Houston, Texas, that could hep his body fight off the cancer by growing new T-cells. They will need help paying for the all the labs, office visits, and tests associated with the trial. They'll also be flying to Houston at least twice in the next two months with their three-month old daughter, Juniper — incurring additional travel costs.
