Homeschool in China

We are in our sixth year homeschooling our two children in China. High school and middle school is not where we started this journey.
Our family of four has always known we would eventually return to China where my husband and I had previously served for 9 and 8 years respectively before we had our children. In fact we never got a pet in the States knowing we'd eventually have to leave them. Our Chinese stray dog, Nutmeg, was one of the first additions to our rented apartment in China, and she did her part to ward off homesickness for the children and keep them company as they cracked the books in the living room.
We thought we'd share our need for homeshooling funds with the community on gofundme, knowing that many of you may be homeschoolers as well. We plan to purchase online dual high school/college credit classes for our 11th grade son, and to purchase a school in a box curriculum for our 7th grade daughter. Our son will be attending the first quarter of the year at a Christian school in Maryland playing his favorite soccer and soaking up a lot of excellent classroom imparted knowledge before returning to Kunming and home school.
This has been a" take it year by year" kind of experience which has led us to our current curriculum choices and format. It's been a wonderful season spent together with our family ministering to wonderful Chinese people.
