Funding Andy Parrish's Journey

Anyone who knows Andy Parrish knows that he has never met a stranger. Everyone loves Andy! He has worked at Harris Teeter in Durham, NC for years bringing joy to so many.



On Wednesday, August 15, 2012 while walking home from work, Andy was hit by a car. He was quickly rushed to Duke Hospital. He suffered quite a few injuries (broken ribs, broken arm, some broken vertebrae bones, broken ankle, and a damaged left eye) but the most concerning was his head injury. The doctors performed neurosurgery to help relieve the pressure on his brain.

Today, after 15 months of critical care, rehabilitation, and a caring family, Andy is at home progressing slowly each day. He is truly on a "journey" towards recovery. As a results, resources are needed for Andy's transportation and rehabilitation at home.
