Torez's CerebralPalsy Journey

Torez is 16 years old and has CereblalPalsy. He was born premature weighing under 2lbs. He begin walking with a walker, but he now walks with arm crutches. He has had several orthopedic operations and has another one scheduled for May 29, 2014. This surgery will relieve some muscle tightness in his legs, which will help him to walk better with the crutches or could eliminate the crutches all together. Torez dreams just as big as any other boy his age. Yes, he loves sports and dreams of being able to play someday. As a parent, my dreams are a little different. I dream of being able to pay the medical expenses like co pays, deductibles, and travel espenses to and from specialists without my family missing a meal or going into overdraft.
