Medical Bills

My name is Susie, about 3 months ago I found out I was pregnant. I was crazy excited because I was told that I probably couldn't have a baby. When I was 6 weeks along I went to the emergency room because I was bleeding. The doctors there told me everything was fine. I decided to find a doctor because I was still bleeding. I went to see the doctor on a Saturday, he did an exam and said "oh my You are either 20 to 28 weeks or you are having multiples". Needless to say I was so excited and scared. The ultrasound tech was not in the office that day so I had to wait 7 days for an ultrasound. When that day came I was so excited and couldn't sleep, who knew my life would change that day. Me and Bryan went in for the ultrasound, as we were telling the tech what the doctor said her face went from excited to devastated for us. She said "I see why he thought you were 28 weeks, you have a cantaloupe sized fibroid along with 3 orange sized and some marble sized fibroids growing in your uterus." I didn't know what that meant. She looked for the pregnancy and found that it was measuring 7 weeks, by my calculations I should have been 11 weeks. As we were talking to the doctor a decision had to be made. The pregnancy was not viable. There was no way that I could carry it to term. If the pregnancy would continue to grow so would my 8 pound tumor which could kill me. We made the decision to have a shot of radiation to speed up the process of the miscarriage. Now its just a waiting game. After the first of the year I will be having surgery to remove the tumors and hopefully be able to save my uterus so I can have children. If you know me you know that I never ask for help. I live paycheck to paycheck and now being uninsured my medical bills are getting bigger and bigger. I have to go to the doctor every week to make sure the tumor is not getting bigger. I am working with the hospitals but it still is overwhelming. They think I can pay. More than I can. All the money raised here will be applied to my medical bills. I will be getting insurance after the first of the year. I can not enroll until then. Thank you.
