Medical Mission to the Himalayas!

Hello!

My name is Isaac Dario Azar, and I am currently a 4th year Medical Student at Ross University. In my path to become a physician, I came across the opportunity to help under-served people living in remote regions of the Indian Himalayas thru the Himalayan Health Exchange Program. HHE is a health care service program established with the mission to provide medical and dental care to roughly 2400 patients without access to healthcare around the North Indian villages of Himachal Pradesh.

This is a unique cultural experience where while working to help people that really need it the most, one is able to learn and grow as a healthcare provider. On this expedition, a healthcare team will help bring medical and dental care to several villages located in the lower and outer Himalayas. The team will hold out-patient clinics in seven different locations and provide care to approximately 2400 patients.

HHE offers a few mission trips per year. I will be participating on the winter mission from Feb 1-25, 2014... but only with your help!

Please help me help these patients. I know this experience will allow me to become a better physician, but more importantly it will make a huge difference in the life of the patients in these under-served communities.
