Funeral Services for my dad

Donation protected
On February 1st 2018 our Dad, Harmon J Allen had a major stroke and fell into a coma. We found out this morning that the life insurance policy he had for more than 30 years had somehow lapsed a few years ago. The minimal cost of his funeral is going to cost $6050. My family is scrambling to find the funds.
It is a strange thing to give money to complete stranger; however let me make Harmon less of a stranger to you.
He was born May 30th 1924, by 1943 he married and by 1984 he had been the proud father of ten children. To date he has held and loved 49 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. This does not included all the “adopted" and foster children that Harmon opened his loving arms to.  At 93 years old he has seen many kin pass away, including siblings, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. And while we were weak, he always stood by us to give just enough support to allow us children to find a way to stand on our own.
He would tell all of his male kin that as soon as you take a women to be your wife, your immediate family changes and he embodied this; he loved with a stoic demeanor, and always, always gave an honest fair word to those who would listen and work for it.
He would always help neighbors in need. He would always fully invest in church, to the point of serving a mission late in life in Canada.
He prayed and loved with every beat of his heart, when he smiled he lit up the room. It did not matter if you where the lowliest of the low, or of the highest echelon. He would look you in the eye and treat you with respect, and hold no judgement of you or anything that over shadowed you.
When money got tight in his immediate family he worked a second job, along with any duties that needed to be done in the home. This being his pace, even as he came into his 80's.  Always man that made sure what needed to be done was done.  Honestly, if he knew that I was making this page, he would likely shake his head at me and then regardless of his age and inability to keep up with technology, would find way to navigate his way into taking this page down and then would go to work to make up the money. However, me and my family as far spread out as we are, were not prepared for this life situation, and immediately gather all of the funds we need to give this wonderful man the burial and honors he deserves.
