Hello everyone!
My best friend Sissy was diagnosed with stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer on April of this year. She was a hardworking single mother who always managed to make ends meet by working long overtime hours. She is the mother of three: a 20 year old, 10 year old, and a 7 year old. Unfortunately, due to the chemotherapy she was no longer able to continue working. Now it is her eldest daughters (Catherine) job to work and support the family. Catherine has had to sacrifice attending college in order to help her family. Sissy qualified for short term disability income. However the disability income will be discontinued this month (November 2013) as it has reached its 7 month maximum duration period. This leaves her and her family in a great financial crisis. I am also extremely saddened to inform you that her landlord was forced to issue an eviction notice to Sissy. Sissy will be having surgery for a mastectomy this 11th of November (Monday). Then she will receive radiation therapy for a long period of time.
I ask each and every single one of you to please help my best friend while she gets better. Even if its $1, it would be a big help.
