The Road to the crown

I am a participant in the Miss California USA 2020 pageant competition. Your funding goes toward my pageant competition fees, coaching, hotel stay, training, photoshooting, gowns, swim suit, shoes, hair, make up, campaigns, marketing materials, and more. My goal is to inspire individuals struggling with body image. How you see yourself is highly important because it is a pathway for how others treat you. Four years ago i competed in a local beauty pageant for the very first time. I was the only black woman to compete the year i did and i won first runner up. Well, that sparked some fire in me to raise funds in order to compete for Miss CA USA 2017. Although i did not win that year, the lesson i took with me was far more valuable. This year, I am representing the city of Gardena, as Miss Gardena USA. It would mean the world to me if i had as much support as i possibly can this time around. I aspire to encourage the inner city kids with my platform. I want children to feel safe as they truly express themselves through the arts. This is an accomplishment I am most proud of and I plan to continue giving opportunities to where it is needed most. I need your help.
