50km Lug challenge walk for ASH Animal Rescue

Hi Folks
I will be participating in the Lug challenge this year which is a walk over 50km in length taking in 17 peaks over the Wicklow mountains...... in one day.
I have chose to do this walk in Aid of Ash Animal Rescue which is a fantastic rescue shelter in County Wicklow. Ash takes in all sorts of animals that have been abandoned , dumped , lost , injured and much more. The shelter is heavily reliant on donations and volunteer work and every cent raised will go towards the animals in their care. More information about Ash can be found at

To be honest I’m quite petrified about this whole undertaking but if enough money is raised I will have backed myself into a corner and have to succeed. The walk takes place on June 15th and more information can be found at :
