Help Darius "Dive & Save Our Fish"

I need you to help me SAVE OUR FISH – (or the earth’s CORAL REEFS) -that is!
Hi, I am Darius Williams and I am 13 years old. I need to raise $3,500 to go on an Ocean Service Mission to The Fiji Islands, so that I can HELP SAVE OUR PLANET’S DYING CORAL REEFS. I am a Competitive Diver and Swimmer and I have placed 1st in several championships in both sports, so I’m pretty good in the water. I also plan to qualify for the Olympics 1 day. I would like to use my diving and swimming skills to help SAVE the world’s endangered Coral Reefs in the Pacific, and 25% of the Pacific’s Coral Reefs are around the Fiji islands. So, if I can help increase Coral Reefs in this part of the earth I can help save our fish.
Coral reefs are very important to our planet for many different reasons, but I think 2 important reasons why we need it are:
· They house and feed the fish and plants that humans eat
· They help protect our coast-lines from giant waves and tropical storms.
Our problem is that the world’s coral reef is rapidly shrinking fast - due to things like global warming, pollution in the waters, and over-fishing. Most scientists agree that if we do nothing, all of the coral reef on earth will be gone by the end of this century!! THAT MEANS NO MORE FISH SANDWICHES!! WOW!
BUT I CAN HELP CHANGE THIS, WITH YOUR HELP!
I have been invited, along with a group of my fellow Teacher and Student Scientists, to travel to the Fiji Islands to help restore our coral reef in the Pacific. While in Fiji, I will actually be working and diving in the water to:
1. protect and relocate coral reefs that are in danger,
2. plant coral gardens –(which is something like planting trees but in the ocean )
3. and study the species to learn more about how to keep it from dying around the world.
Not only will I be able to use my diving and swimming skills to help the world, but I am going to get to learn a lot of amazing things about Science and protecting our Earth. This trip will be life-changing for me. I am working very hard to earn extra money in many different honest ways.
But I still need your help to make it happen. Will you please make any size donation, even if just a few dollars, towards helping me accomplish my world service mission? I need to make deposits on the trip now and I must have all of the money in by early April 2018.
