Help My Son Become an EMT/ Firefighter

My son says to me "Mom I want a meaningful career I'd like to become an EMT/Firefighter" My first vision was of him screaming "My house is on fire"!! He was 3 yrs old when our house burnt down. He witnessed a firefighter risk his life to save ours. Over the years he talked about becoming one. He now has made a commitment to pursing his dream. Its a 2 week EMT Bootcamp.
His mentor Landon Sewell Firefighter Technician/NREMT has given him the opportunity to move to DC with him and attend The District of Columbia Fire Dept Academy. Eddie has never had the guidance of a man so this is a huge opportunity & blessing.

Being a young single mother I am beyond proud of the humble young man I have raised. Eddie is 20yrs old with a heart of Gold. He knows his job will be about what he is willing to do for a complete stranger. Like any mother I will be funding this journey with all that I'm able. 3600.00 covers the EMT bootcamp training,lodging transportation, & food. Soon as this Goal is met he will start immediately.
