UPDATE 07/09/18!!
Dave has been back in the hospital many times since we have started our fund. Due to his health he has now lost another toe as well as carpel tunnel surgery in both arms because of the hard work that he has put into the farm. He is still unable to work. Anything helps and we thank you in advance.
For those of you who know David Privitera you know that he is a person that has always given whatever is needed to family, friends, and the Community. He is the 3rd generation to run the Family Farming business and has worked hard his entire life.
David is the most hardworking, generous and caring person that is always the first to step up to help anyone who needed it. Unfortunately due to some major health problems he has been unable to work for the last 8 months. David suffered a Heart Attack right after Christmas and also had some severe Diabetic Health problems as well. He had to have triple bypass surgery and a heart valve replacement and to compound his situation he also had to have two toes amputated as a result of his related Diabetic Health problems.
While he is recovering and getting his strength back he has been unable to work and run the Farm, as you all probably know with the Farm Market being closed this year. To make matters worse Davis has insurmountable Medical Bills and day to day living expenses to pay and without being able to work he is in jeopardy of losing the family business that he, his parents and grandparents have worked so hard to build.
We are asking anyone who can to donate and help David in his time of need as he has helped so many during their time of need. He is a very proud hard working man who just wants to get back on his feet and continue his family business that has been part of the community for over 100 years.
Please think of how David has always been there for his family, friends and the rest of the Community and help us to help him get back on his feet and be able to continue doing what he loves best: Working hard at his family business and supporting the Community.
