<div>My dear friend Dominique (“Domma”) is living every family’s worst nightmare. Her husband, Jon, was in a horrific motorcycle accident on October 2, 2025, that left him with life-threatening injuries.

<div>Jon was on his way home from Walmart after making a quick run for baby wipes and coffee — small, everyday essentials for his young family — when tragedy struck. A vehicle failed to see him and made a sudden U-turn in front of his motorcycle. Jon had no time to stop and was struck down. The Walmart bag with baby wipes and coffee made it to the hospital with him — a heartbreaking reminder of the ordinary errand that changed everything.

<div>Jon broke every bone in his face, his back, his shoulder, his arm, his leg, his sternum, several teeth, and suffered three brain bleeds. He faces an incredibly long road to recovery — with countless surgeries and months, if not years, of healing ahead.

<div>Jon is the sole provider for their family — a devoted husband and loving father to their three beautiful children, ages 3½, 22 months, and just 4 months old. Their middle child lives with a rare brittle bone disease, adding a layer or worry and care to their daily lives. As Jon fights to recover, Domma is doing everything she can to hold their family together, but the weight of mounting medical bills and daily living expenses has become overwhelming.
