Please Help Me Save My Dog

Today, November 2 2013, I was playing with my son and dog when he needed to cross the street to retrieve his play ball when a car came out of nowhere and ran him over. This guy did not even stop to see if the dog was ok or talk to me. It happen in a residential area where the speed limit is 10mph. This car was going over 45mph. When I got to my dog, he was trying to stand and was bleeding from the nose, mouth, and ears. I rushed him to the emergency pet hospital in Tampa Fl (Blue Pearl Hospital). After long hours of waiting, we found out he had multiple bones broken in his jaw and face. Even in pain, he was wagging his tale at everyone in the hospital. The doctors told me that the cost of the operation and care would add up to over $4000 I had to make a decision either to put him down or come up with the cash. I'm trying to come up with the cash. He was a gift to my son, my poor son is in tears and so am I. I'm hopping that I can raise the cash to have the operation going.
