Travis's Heart Surgery Fund

Recently our family endured something that we didn't expect. My husband hasnt been feeling good for a while now but we just thought he was tired due to work. He came home from work 2 weeks ago and said he needed to go to the hospital because he was having chest pains. He was diagnosed with Pleurisy (which is fluid around the lungs), very painful and also diagnosed with bronchitis. They treated him with antibiotics and then released him. He started to feel better, then about exactly a week after going to the ER he started to have some redness and swelling on his wrist area. It continued to get worse and he was running a fever so he went back to the ER to find out that he had a Bacteria blood infection. (Very dangerous). They admitted him and started to treat him. The day after he was admitted he had an episode around 2am where he couldn't catch his breath. They did a chest xray and found out that his lungs were filling up with fluid. They put him on meds right away to help the fluid go down. They started to run other test to make sure his heart was ok and come to find out, it wasnt. The bacteria he had in his blood ended up eating away at one of his heart valves, so one of his valves doesnt close all the way like it should. He has what is called "Endocarditis". He is now home from the hospital with a "picc line" in his arm. (A line that runs from his arm to his heart). He is on strong antibiotics 5 times a day to keep any bacteria/infection away from the heart until he has his heart surgery in about 6-8 weeks. So with all that being said, he is not able to work and will be not able to go back to work for quite some time because he will have "open heart" surgery to replace his valve. I am a stay at home mom to our 2 beautiful babies. (Brecken 2 1/2, and Braelynn 15 months) So we are in need of any help that we can get right now to help our family and bills that need to be paid.
