Smitty's New Lungs

After battling Cystic Fibrosis for 49 years, it was time for a lung transplant. The last two years were particularly difficult. I had to retire and spent many days in the hospital or recovering from being in the hospital. My family and friends are a constant source of support and I would not be in this journey without them and the sacrifice of my donor. We don't know the actual cost yet but we do know it will be a lot. Hotel costs, dining out, gas and all the hidden costs are only beginning. It's hard to ask for help when I have fought to remain independent and active. Any and all donations are appreciated and will be used solely to fund my journey to wellness. Thank you for your time.
