CARE for Haiti

Clinic and Relief Efforts (C.A.R.E.) for Haiti is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that started out small with big ambitions. As a student-led organization, we apply our clinical, problem-solving, and interprofessional collaboration skills to provide the highest quality patient-centered care at an international level.

We will be travelling to Chabin, Haiti from March 9-16 to set up a temporary clinic and provide medical care and medications to patients who otherwise might not be able to receive the care they require. Last year our team saw 557 patients and filled a grand total of 2,247 scripts throughout 4 days of clinic. This year we are hoping to do the same and also provide more education to patients on prevention/management of chronic conditions.

We are looking for donations to help us purchase the medications that our patients in Haiti will need. Your contribution can really go a long way to helping us care for our patients.  For example, with $10 we can buy antibiotics for almost 10-20 kids or worms medication for 10 patients.

We would really like to thank all of our donors by sending a postcard after we get back. When making a donation, please include your address in the "comments" section. You can also choose to hide your comment so that only we see it.

Finally, since we are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, donations are tax deductible. Thank you SO much for your time and your donation!
