All, a wonderful man and well-loved local sports umpire has had a medical emergency and needs our help! Demetrich (Dee) Brown suffered a Hemorrhagic Stroke that required emergency brain surgery. Thus far, he has had one surgery, but another might be in the picture if the CT scans don't improve (info as of 11/2).
In case you were not aware, Dee had been looking for permanent work for sometime and does not have any medical insurance. While we are in the process of setting up additional fundraising opportunities (e.g., tournament and raffles), we know there are many friends of Dee that want to start helping now. Any donation is appreciated and will be put to good use while doctors continue to monitor and assess his situation. Updates will be posted here as well as on Facebook.
