Help Mike Replace Stolen Bass

My white Left Handed D Lakin Bass was stolen while I was loading out of my gig in Ottowa last night. I left it by the van at 1:30am while we continued to load all of the gear, and it was gone. Since the day I bought this bass a year and a half ago, it has been the only bass I ever used. So much so, that I had given an older bass of mine to a young lefty student for him to learn. I play bass left handed which means it's custom made, which leaves me unable to play music. There is nothing in this world I love doing more then performing, and losing such a sentimental instrument that I've performed with all over the country is a tough pill for me to swallow.

I also teach plenty of students, and outside of performing have made my home at School of Rock. I use this instrument to teach young musicians their craft, and try to inspire them to do what I'd love to keep doing, which is to enjoy making music.

My bass, my iPad with all of my music on it, and my custom Funktastic bass strap was stolen from me. I would be very grateful to anyone who can share, or donate, so I can continue making music. Without my Left Handed bass, it is impossible for me to perform plenty of shows and opportunities that I have worked so hard to get. Thank you Mike Zabrin
