Hello this is Matt Lamberton & Central Coast Donations.  Located in the Santa Ynez Valley. Thank you to everyone that has donated and continues to donate to help us out financially and to continue our journey in helping others. Since the start of the Thomas Fire we decided that we wanted help. The first night we went and bought 30 cases of water and drove them to the Ventura Fairgrounds. The following day I was contacted by people needing assistance (how they got my Facebook info, I have no clue) and I was able to make it happen. Being at ground zero in Ojai, Santa Paula and Ventura, speaking with organizations I saw what goes on behind the scenes. That's when I knew that I wanted to make a difference. We stopped dropping off donations at "drop sites", instead going deeper in the communities, meeting displaced victims, listening to their stories and doing our best to restore their spirits. I reached out in our community and their help we have been able to make a dozen trips to deliver specific items that were needed. Items from clothing, food, tools, water, school supplies, baby items, kitchen appliances, toiletries etc... Able to make people smile again. Now my dream is to take Central Coast Donations to the next level and continue to help ·HELP·DONATE·RESTORE our beautiful Central Coast. Financially I need help to obtain this goal. Everyday expense of a family with 4 amazing/giving children, rent to store all of the great donations and the costs if traveling to not only distribute donations to people in need but also driving to collect them as well. I have driven up and down the central coast, truck and trailer to be able to collect all of your generous donations but it has now caught up with me. With the prices of gas on the rise, everyday bills I am finding myself in a situation were I need help. Never the one to ask, I am humbling myself to do so. To be able to not only stay afloat myself but being able to continue showing how much our Santa Ynez Valley cares about others.
