Jannat's Cancer Fund

This little angel whose name is Jannat is my neice and also the daughter of Omar and Bibi Ameela Adam. She was diagnosed with retinablastoma, a rare form of cancer that originates primarily within the eyes of infants 3 years or younger. Jannat is 1 year old. This condition is so rare that on average, it affects 300 children or less within the United States. Jannat has a severe form of the cancer itself and has been battling it with a smile on her face despite the severity of the adversity. Her cheerfulness, combined with her innocence is a learning lesson for us adults. Jannat will be receiving chemo-therapy while doctors run additional tests to determine whether other areas of her body were affected. In addition, she has lost at least 70% vision within her affected eye with the brain at risk of being affected by the cancer. The purpose of this fund is to secure the future of her medical care as it relates to treatment expenses not covered by health insurance.
