Puerto Rico Family Relief

In the mountains of Puerto Rico, my family  and their neighbors still do not have electricity and running water...almost two months after Hurricane Maria devastated the Island. This fund will contribute directly to the immediate relief needed for my family and their neighbors: food, water, clean-up, medicine, materials for rebuilding. Once we can raise this amount, I will be sharing stories and responses from everyone this money helped. So many of you have asked how my family is and that kindness helped us get through the early weeks when we did not know anything and could not communicate with my family. You've also continued to ask if you could support my family and others on the Island by sending supplies, offering your homes for those relocating, or sending money.  At first we did not know what was best. Now, my cousins tell me that what is most needed are direct funds to the families in need so they can get exactly what they each need. Please give what you can. There are other initiatives that you can also support, but the best ones are doing grass-roots work. Either way, I thank you and my family thanks you for your love and solidarity.
