Brother Carlos deceased help Mom

Dearest Friends,

My brother Carlos died recently on October 13th Sunday, unexpectadly, after beeing sick for almost a year. He had surgery in May to his stomach which was removed entirely due to cancer. After that his recovery was amazing! put on some wait as he was eating well and had good apetite. But when he had to restart chemo 3 months after his body didn't cope with such violence and died. It was a shock to all of us as nobody was counting with such ending not even my brother!
I am in Lisbon right now to be with Mom thanks to a dear friend of mine and Chuck´s who paid for the ticket to help Mom in this difficult moment emotionally and financially. She has expenses that need to be paid mainly the Funeral one. So this is the reason I thought of reaching and ask for help to all of you to help Mom.
Also Mom expressed her desires to come and live with me and Chuck. That is also my desire as it would be hard to leave her living alone by herself at her age, 79 years old. So the second reason for the raising is to buy her a plane ticket to join us.
Many of you know her as she has been over several times along the 15 years living with my beloved Chuck. Sweet Heart she is and I want to give her good quality time and to be surrounded by people who love her!
