Will you help us bring our daughter home?

In January we began the process of international adoption. We hope to bring home a little girl currently living in an orphanage in rural Haiti. Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere and the living conditions there are brutal at best. In December of 2012 we met a 2 year old abandoned at the orphanage with just the clothes on her back. She wasn't even wearing shoes. We decided that we had room for her in our home and hearts. However, deciding to adopt is the easy part. The process is filled with obstacles, both emotional and financial. The fees to complete an adoption are astronomical. We won't leave this child to an uncertain future in Haiti, just because it is expensive, but we could use some help getting her home.

We know that helping us is not for everyone and that's ok. We chose this journey and we will see it through. But, if you can help us raise some of the funds needed to bring our daughter to a loving home, with siblings, grandparents, and doting aunts and uncles, all of us will be eternally grateful.
