Chester's Fight Against A Stick

Donation protected
A week ago, January 15, 2018, our dog Chester (GSP) had serious abdominal surgery as it was discovered he had a foreign body skewering his intestines in 2 spots & also puncturing his abdominal wall. ( He ate a 2 inch stick. ) Surgery was 4-1/2 hours & he was given a 50/50 chance at survival. He has done well until yesterday, January 21, 2018. He is now back at the vet due to persistent nausea. The vet is worried about sepsis, fluid in his stomach & adhesions. It's been a scary week & we've spent just about $9,000. There is now talk of a 2nd surgery. We are working on a loan. In the meantime, funds are tight Chester is strong. His vitals are stable & has no fever (however he is on 2 antibiotics). He is the happiest dog we've ever had! He constantly wags his tail, even now when he's very sick. He asks for nothing. He's just happy being with us. If you are in a position to donate to help with expenses for our beloved boy, no words could express how grateful we would be. If unable to donate, we we would so appreciate any positive thoughts, vibes, and/or prayers you could send our way! ❤️ I will be posting our expenses to date & moving forward so you can see how much we have/continue to accrue & what the donations will go towards.
Thank you so much!
