Gabriel Mendoza Scholarship Fund

Gabriel Alejandro Mendoza was a junior at Texas State University in San Marcos Texas. He was studying to be an orchestra music educator. Gabriel believed that “music was good for the soul and has an impact on everyone.” For that reason the family wants to contribute to a like minded student who will carry the torch in educating youth in orchestral music. All funds donated here will be donated by his mother and beneficiary, Tammy Everton, for a music educator’s scholarship at Texas State University in memory of Gabriel whose goals were to impact students with the love of music. The funds will be presented at an orchestra concert at Texas State in his honor on February 13, 2018.
