Chodkowski Loving Friends Cancer Fund

Shelly has been my best friend since elementary school. She is the most beautiful person inside and out. She has always worried about others and been there in the time of need for many. She has been diagnosed with lung and brain cancer they are telling her it is terminal. But we all know someone who has been told the same thing, only to survive. It is hard to focus on the fight when you have other worries like co-pays, medications, hotel rooms for treatment and lost wages. Shelly's husband, Dave, is devastated and during this tragic time when he just wants to spend every day helping his wonderful wife through her treatments and being by her side, he must also worry about time off from work. No one should have to have the financial worries that Michele and Dave are approaching while trying to slay this monster that has invaded their lives. Her only daughter, Tiffany, lives far away in Indiana and is about to have her first child. So Shelly has begun treatment in the hopes that she can be there for the birth. But Shelly and Dave live in Merritt Island, Florida and treatment is an hour away each day in Orlando. True to the person she is, Shelly has had only one thing on her mind, her worry about those that love her and what they will be dealing with. Most of all, her loving and devoted husband. We all have financial issues during these current economical times. But we all are also spending a $1 here and there that we don't need to be.
