Abigail's Canine Companion

This go fund me page is for Abigails pup from my Canine companion. Abigail is 3 years old and a fantastic little girl who loves to make people laugh. Abigail has autism, an intellectual disability and is non verbal. Due to Abigails diagnosis she needs one to one care as she has no sense of danger, doesn't recognise strangers and can get extremely stressed out which leads to self harming behaviours. We want to get Abigail an autism assistance dog from My Canine Companion because it will be life changing for her to be able to start learning to be independent, help keep her regulated, help keep her calm and the therapeutic effects of having such a highly trained dog with Abigail on a daily basis will be life changing for her. We have been very blessed and are currently fostering an autism assistance pup in training from My Canine Companion and can already see the effects it is having with Abigail and her two brothers who also have autism. My Canine Companion is a non government funded charity and solely relies on donations, the total cost of a fully trained autism assistance dog is €10,000 we need to raise at least €5,000 to fund a dog for Abigail.
