Brant’s Stroke Recovery Fund

Donation protected
In the beginning of December our dear friend Brant Jones had a major stroke. It left him with his right arm paralyzed, unable to use his hand. The stroke also took his use of speech. He has been fighting so hard to recover through intense speech and occupational therapy, and acupuncture. He has regained a bit of his use of speech! And he recently was able to move his fingers! His determination is inspiring.

While he remains upbeat and positive, it is still unclear when and in what capacity he will be able to return to work. And not all of these treatments are covered by insurance. All of that coupled with knowing that he will have to be on some very expensive medication for the rest of his life has obviously caused a lot of anxiety.

It would be so wonderful if all the people who hold Brant dear – in the close knit Chelan Valley, all his friends and family in Kauai, our far flung Karma family, and of course all of his friends across Washington and beyond- if we could all chip in a little bit it would help ease some of his anxiety about the future and give him the peace of mind to focus only on his recovery. He is a loving man with a beautiful soul who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Let’s pay it forward and take care of Brant!
