April’s Fight With Breast Cancer

On Monday January 15th, my sister April was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Upon visiting with numerous doctors, they have discovered her cancer is very aggressive and will need treatment immediately. This treatment will consistently of Chemo therapy, Hormone therapy, and breast surgery. No one could ever prepare for this fight. There is not enough insurance out there to help with the co-pays, out-of-pocket expenses for medications, not to mention normal household expenses. With moving so quickly because of the aggressiveness of her cancer, she will be out of work for a while but bills do not stop coming. While we as a family have banded together, we only have so many expendable resources as well. We are asking for your help, not a handout. If you’ve ever heard my sisters beautiful voice, or if she’s ever touched your heart or your life, I’m simply asking you to do the same. If you do not have the monetary means to help do not fret as prayer is a contribution as well. As a family we would like to thank you all in advance for any help or assistance you may be able to provide and for also joining us in the fight to beat cancer! Cancer sucks!
