Hi y’all! I am sooooo excited to announce that I am going to be the admin intern at 51:10 Youth Ranch in Buena Vista, Colorado, this summer! 51:10 is a faith-based nonprofit organization where they encourage children through pairing them with a horse and a mentor. My heart has grown to deeply love the ministry and the people that are a part of it, which is why I decided to take the position, even though it is away from my comfort zone in Georgia!
The ranch has held a special place in my heart and life ever since I went out for the first time with my senior class in 2019. I also got the chance to visit them again in August 2019 with my good friend, Lauren, where we volunteered at their annual bbq. I was also blessed with the opportunity to go out and serve/lead with the Valor Christian Academy senior class of 2021 last March, and I am so excited to go out again this March with Valor’s 2022 senior class! So my point is that I’ll take any opportunity to go out to 51:10 Youth Ranch! There was no way I could pass up this summer internship!
Since starting college at the University of North Georgia, I have felt extremely called into ministry, whether that be through a nonprofit organization or through a church. I just know God has given me this opportunity to go serve the community of Buena Vista, CO, for a reason. I am just so excited to go out and serve and love every single person I meet, whether they are a child or a fellow mentor! I’m also just so excited to grow closer to others while growing closer to God!
To be able to go on this amazing adventure, I need to fundraise $3,000! I know that seems like a big amount, but I believe God will provide! Any amount that you’re able to give, I will be forever grateful! Whether it’s a $1 or $100, we will appreciate every penny! Thank y’all for reading this; I am beyond excited to go out and serve the people at 51:10 Youth Ranch through this internship!
