<div>My name is Dan O'Brien. I reside in Emerson, NJ, and am currently a member of the Westwood Volunteer Fire Department. I am a 50-plus-year veteran of the volunteer fire service here in NJ. I recently went to North Carolina with a group of generator dealers/electrical contractors to help with the devastation from the flood. We brought down generators, cords and connectors, heaters, and propane to help the people with no power (expected to be repaired by spring '25).

<div>Because they are in the Black Mountains, they all have wells. No power, no water.

<div>While there, I spoke to some of the local volunteer fire departments. They too lost some or everything.

<div>I started asking for donations of surplus equipment from local fire departments here. The donations are coming in.

<div>Now I am at the place that I need some money to help purchase some of the equipment that I cannot find here and have donated. I have located some used fire equipment, but it has to be purchased.

<div><strong>Need to buy used fire equipment, i.e., single axle tanker, mini pumper, full-size fire engine, single axle 75 ft ladder truck.</strong>
