Licha’s Funeral Expenses & Support

Maria Alicia "Licha" Sanchez was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt with a very sweet and beautiful soul. Mom was a most courageous woman and the true definition of a “woman's strength”. She was not dealt with the best hand when it came to her health and yet she always managed to smile and laugh with all her impairments. Her greatest passion was cooking and she was phenomenal! In her younger days and before her impairments got the best of her, she loved to dance and would often talk about how she would merengue and cha cha. Mom would often amaze people with her cooking. Her knife skills were the envy of any top rated chef as she could dice any vegetable in record time, without cutting herself (she was blind!). Mom's kitchen recipes were often sought for by family, friends and even her children’s co-workers! Her flour tortillas were THE BEST and have yet to be replicated. Mom departed us unexpectedly early this month and our family is in the process of settling the details for her final resting place while grieving from the devastation of her loss. Unfortunately, because she had no signs of any illnesses, and her passing came as quite a shock, we did not have any end of life arrangements made prior to her departure. We would like to ask if you could find it in your heart to donate any amount to help with offsetting funeral and cemetery costs and services. No amount is too small. The funds will go directly to cover the mortuary and cemetery expenses we incur. We thank you for your consideration and God bless.
