Nova Memorial Fund
Those of you who know me know that I have always done everything possible to take care of my cats. Nova was no exception. Nova was diagnosed with Kidney Disease in 2015, and had multiple close calls that required significant veterinary intervention. Unfortunately, Nova lost his battle with Kidney Disease on December 13, 2017. The veterinary bills for the last few months of his life, and then his end of life care and cremation total well over $3,500, which I had to put onto a credit card in order to claim his remains. Most of you also know that I lost my job on November 1, 2016, and have been on a strict income budget since then, as I pursue my Associate Degree so that I may start a new, successful career. I have been hesitant to ask for help, but with the cost of Nova's veterinary bills, I am left in a bind. I am asking for help to pay off some of Nova's bills, and if there is anything donated beyond my goal, I will be making donations to cat-related charities in Connecticut in Nova's memory. I know that this may seem like an odd request to some of you, but Nova was family to me. Every dollar helps me get closer to my goal of honoring him through charity donations. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and if you are unable to donate, I understand, but please share this with others! -Erika
