<div>Update (November 2025):

<div>The 50K for 50 Days Challenge is on pause — but the mission continues.

<div>I’m rebuilding after injury and returning stronger in April 2026 to complete the run and reach the $50K goal for The Mirabel Foundation.

<div>Hi, my name is Mark Carpenter and I’m taking on the 50K for 50 Days challenge — 2,500 KM in total — to raise $50,000 for The Mirabel Foundation. The goal remains the same: to run 50 kilometres every day for 50 days, showing what’s possible when we move with purpose and resilience, while raising funds for kids who need it most.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mirabel supports children who have been orphaned or abandoned due to parental drug use — giving them hope, support, and a better future.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This cause is close to my heart. I know, from my own experience, how childhood's can shape a life. And I know how much difference the right support, care and resilience can make.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Running has been part of my own healing journey — and now I want to use it to help others.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why 50 for 50?
</div>
<div>Because I turn 50 this year — and I want this run to be a milestone for good: to show what’s possible when we move with purpose, and to raise funds for kids who need it most.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You can follow the full journey — from training through to the 50 days of running — on Instagram (@markcarpenterau) and the campaign site (<a href="https://50k50days.com." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://50k50days.com." target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://50k50days.com.</a></a> I’ll be sharing the highs, the lows, the kilometres, and the community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support will help fund life-changing programs for children doing it tough — with donations going directly to The Mirabel Foundation (minus standard processing fees).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can, please donate — any amount helps.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And if you’re not in a position to give right now, one of the most powerful things you can do is share this GoFundMe page — and the @markcarpenterau Instagram account — with your friends, family, or followers. Every share helps spread the story, grow the movement, and bring this message of resilience to more people — and more kids who need our help.

</div>
<div>Everyone is welcome — every kilometre counts. Together, we can run for resilience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can make a real difference.
