Recovering Zarcone’s Damaged Home

Around 3 a.m. on January 10, 2018 The Zarcone Family's home was flooded when a canal next to their home overflowed. They were awoken to the sound of water and discovered their home was under several feet of dirty canal water. There were pumps put in place by a construction company to divert the canal water from the construction on Locan, but the pumps did not come on as planned. Thankfully everyone was safe, but the house and their belongings were destroyed. This all happened the same day Jayson’s 15 year old brother, Dylan, was on a plane to come live with the Zarcones after losing both of his parents within the year. Tragedy struck yet again on January 15th when thieves broke into and robbed the pods containing their salvaged belongings. The family is currently living in a hotel and most of their belongings are not salvageable. As they wait for more permanent housing there are many needs that arise daily. Insurance takes time (and a battle) and they need to replace lost necessities quickly and also need to provide daily meals and incidentals for a family of 6. Jayson and Jaime have been unable to work as they deal with this mess, making the financial burden even more significant. Jayson’s elderly grandmother, Nonni, whom they care for and resides with them, is currently with a family friend, but hoping to be reunited with them soon.
The Zarcones are the most giving people and are reluctant to ask for help, but disaster has hit them hard and they need the support of their community. Your financial help and your prayers are so very appreciated.
