Coming Together for the Bigby family

Family and FriendsMost, if not all of you, know the Bigby family. They are our very own “Brady Bunch”, including Matt, Julie, Alexa, Kaylee, Jett, Kamden, and Remi. The oldest girls are amazing young women, one waist deep in nursing school, and the other with a full schedule of students she tutors. The boys are students at Selah High School and Middle School. They are the best of buddies and are always busy with football, nerf gun fights, building forts, and fishing and hunting with their Dad. The youngest, Remi, is a student at SIS. She is smart, sweet and a very talented young lady whom loves her family more than anything and is always dreaming big. Together Matt and Julie have made a beautiful life for themselves. Matt is a very hard and dedicated worker. He’s been at his job for over 17 years and loves what he does. More importantly, he is an incredible husband and father. He is easy to pick out of a crowd because he’s the one walking around taking a turn at holding all the babies in the room. Julie is an amazing stay at home mom who loves her family more than I can even put into words. It’s difficult to express the love, compassion, and genuine goodness that come from this family. Recently, and very unfortunately, they have fallen on hard times. On January 2nd Matt was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. After complications, on January 5th, he was moved to the critical care unit and put on a ventilator. Through all of this, Julie has barely left his side. He was taken off of the ventilator on January 17. He is now fighting a new battle involving his kidneys. He is in acute kidney failure. This is going to be a long and hard recovery process. Together they are fighting for their family, and are trying hard to stay strong and positive. Friends, please pray for this family. Whenever anyone asks what they can do to help, the answer is always “pray”. It is unknown at this time how much longer Matt will need to be in the hospital. As you know, even with medical insurance, bills can add up quickly. If you can friends, please donate to this family. One less thing for them to worry about would be such a blessing.
