Help Little Jax Live A Longer Life

Hi everyone. It breaks my heart to be writing this but unfortunately our baby boy ‘Jax’ who is a 4 month old Rottweiler puppy has been diagnosed with a hereditary heart disease called “subaortic stenosis” This disease affects his entire body and constantly causes him pain and grief. We have had him seen by several specialists and devastatingly the results have come back the same from each doctor. There is no surgery that can be done or permanent treatment for this disease, and in result means Jax’s life expectancy is only 2-3 years old. The doctors are saying that he can have a critical heart attack at any stage between now and 3 years of age. There is nothing we can do to keep him alive for a normal dog life expectancy, the only option we have for him is a daily medication from now on hoping to prolong his death to 4-5 years old and ultra sounds every 3-4 months for check up. We have been in contact with our pet insurance company and they have confirmed that Jax is NOT covered under his insurance policy due to this disease being “pre existing” This boy is our family member and most importantly our best friend and it absolutely breaks our hearts that his life is going to be shortened by such a disease and taken away from us so soon. Obviously these continuous visits to vet specialists, medications and ultra sounds every few months is a very expensive situation. For us we would happily pay any price to have him live a long and happy life that he deserves but unfortunately these costs are way outside our constant budget. We beg and hope that anyone reading this could please spare even just a dollar to help out. Every cent counts and if we can raise enough money for these constant treatments, maybe Jax will live to be 4 years old if we’re lucky.
