The Lasserre Family Fundraiser

Welcome to the Lasserre Family Fundraiser. On October 25 Kim and Josh Lasserre received the terrible news that their son Cameron, 20, had an accident where he fell and broke his heels, and ankle and burst fractured his L4 vertebra. He has had surgery on his spine and is in ICU. He will need further surgery and has much rehabilitation ahead.

Kim and Josh are by his side and are grateful for the positives: Cameron's organs are fine, head fine, arms fine, able to move his legs, and he is sleepy but cognizant.

While the family does have some health insurance for Cameron they will face substantial out-of-pocket costs for their son's stay in ICU and rehab. Kim and Josh are also missing work.

Then on October 31 their house in Onion Creek got flooded. There is extensive damage throughout their home and their belongings. Austin and FEMA are not offering any financial assistance at this time. With the help of friends and lots of mops, wetvacs and wheelbarrows the family is trying to salvage their home and return it to livable condition.

We would like to assist with the financial burden as much as possible. Please find it in your hearts to contribute whatever you can to help ease their financial worries.

Thank you,
