Service Dog For Janet Cooke

I am humbly asking for the support of the Georgetown community. Janet Cooke has endured 16 agonizing years with one purpose. Finding her beautiful daughter who disappeared from our community 16 years ago. Rachel Louise Cooke was 19 years old when she vanished while out for a run near her parents Georgetown home on 1/10/02. Janet has made it her life's mission, to seek resolution and justice for Rachel. Janet still resides in Georgetown. She is currently unable to work due to health problems and barely makes ends meet. You could only imagine the emotional, mental and physical toll that has been caused by the nightmare that this mother lives every single day. She asks for nothing and appreciates everything. Now the point!! Janet would love nothing more than a loyal companion that would bring a new purpose to her life and comfort and happiness to her home and heart. In the form of a Service Dog!! With the help of some amazing friends, we have a plan and we need you!! Janet has a pending appointment to be considered for a perfect companion match through Austin Boxer Rescue. Herself and her new companion will need to immediately begin training together through The Dog Alliance in Cedar Park. The cost of the adoption, vet, kennel, bed and training are estimated to be about $1,200. I am asking our community wrap it's amazing loving arms around our friend, neighbor and former GHS teacher and make this dream come true for Janet. Any contribution to the financial need, is deeply appreciated. Janet needs this so badly and lights up so brightly talking about this possibility.
