<div>For 30 years, Michael Norreel dreamed of scuba diving in all 50 U.S. states. On June 4, 2025, at age 77, he made it real. He packed his truck and a second-hand 27-foot travel trailer and hit the road from California — diving in the exact order each state ratified the U.S. Constitution.

He is also a boat captain, and possesses hundreds of teaching credentials in the diving field: open water diving, rescue diving, underwater photography, oxygen 1st aide, coral reef safety, emergency first response, deep diving, ice diving, along with search and rescue to name just a few — but he’s not a mechanic. These breakdowns are stealing his time, energy, and dream.
