<div>Ao longo destas cinco décadas, a UMAR tem desenvolvido um trabalho contínuo e fundamental em diversas áreas:

<div>– No combate à violência contra as mulheres, através da prevenção, do apoio especializado e do acolhimento em casas de abrigo e apartamentos de transição;
</div>
<div>– Junto de jovens e comunidades escolares de vários níveis de ensino, promovendo a igualdade de género e prevenindo a violência no namoro;
</div>
<div>– Na defesa dos Direitos Sexuais e Reprodutivos, lutando para que direitos conquistados não sofram retrocessos;
</div>
<div>– No combate à violência sexual e à violação, realidades que continuam a atingir mulheres e jovens raparigas, num contexto de crescimento de discursos machistas e misóginos nas redes sociais.

<div>Sentimos hoje a necessidade de ampliar o nosso trabalho em todo o país e reforçar a intervenção nos territórios onde já estamos presentes: Braga, Porto, Viseu, Coimbra, Lisboa e Setúbal.
