Dear Friends,
Punjab is facing one of its worst flood disasters in decades. Thousands have been displaced, and many families have lost not just their homes, but also their livelihoods.
We have identified 5 families who have have badly impacted in the floods. (Happy to share their details / phone numbers if someone needs the details before or after the donation). To help them restart their lives with dignity, each family needs approximately ₹1,00,000 (~$1,200 USD). Our total fundraising goal is ₹5,00,000 (about $6,000 USD).
What Your Support Will Provide (per family):
- Safe Shelter – repairing their home
- Essential Needs – food, clothing, blankets, cooking supplies
- Medical Care – support for immediate health needs
- Livelihood Restart – Seeds, livestock etc. (to the extent possible within the limited funds)
