Keep My Dream Alive ✨

Hello all, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Aunyai Hedrick. Many of you knew my father Bobby Hedrick. I reside in Charlotte, North Carolina. My father passed away over two years ago and there are no words to describe how much I miss him. I want to keep my dream alive of becoming a professional singer. When I was a little girl I tried out for Triad Idol in Greensboro NC. Although I didn't win the competition, I sang Daddy by Beyoncé. I can still picture my father, tears pouring down his cheeks. He was so proud of me. He took me to the Golden Corral, a favorite restaurant of mine. In 2013, I tried out for American Idol. I made it to the Top 40 and got sent home in the final round of Hollywood week. It was an experience that I will always treasure. I need your help to keep my dream alive. I have been invited to record my voice in Las Vegas. I am the lead singer of a group called Venus Steele. My producers name is Justin DeGrate. He has arranged for the group to record songs until the month of May, 2018. After we are done, he will send it to different recording labels. In order to do this, I have to travel to Las Vegas once a month and consequently, I have to take time off from my job at Strategic Behavior Health Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am a mental health technician. Unfortunately, when I take time off, I do not get paid. Taking time off from work will affect paying my bills on time. It will also leave me with limited funds needed to pay my rent, car insurance, gas, food other household bills. I also need funds for travel expenses. Although my agent pays for my flight to and from Las Vegas, I have to find places to stay and perhaps impose on people. I would like to be able to find my own accommodation’s. As you can see, I need your financial support to keep this dream of alive. I need to give this my all and with your help that’s just what I will do.
